KotatsuBFX 2014 1&2 (8bit)

A free combined release of two packs containing 212 pre-rendered particle-effects for battle-screens etc I originally made in 2013~2014 and were to-be-released as paid content, but cancelled back in the day. Some graphics may be ugly, I didn't want to sort-out any of the stuff.

All files are color-reduced and optimized for use with RPG Maker 2000/2003 (modification of the software may be needed to support more than 25 patterns), but are not limited to said series of products. For bigger files that are optimized for RPG Maker XP, VX, Ace, MV and MZ (in MV-compatible-mode since 1.4.0), check the 32bit-version.

The effects included are absolutely FREE of charge at any time and can be used (at your own risk) in as many free or commercial games as you want as long as "KotatsuAkira" is mentioned in the credits in fitting categories. It is forbidden to rip these from foreign games or to claim them as your own creations. Also, do not use any of the assets in games that infringe criminal law of your country.

All files provided are self-extracting 7-Zip files. If you are not using Windows or don't want to execute them, some packing-programs for your OS though should be able to extract their contents. The "2000" folders contain files with pattern-size 96×96 (optimized for RPG2000/2003), while "2003" ones contain files with 128×128 (not usable in RPG2000).

The archives with "Alpha" in their names contain variations that are converted back to 32bit and feature an alpha-channel instead of background-color. This is for use in programs that can't handle 8bit-palettes. The "LC"-archives are unfinished packs from 2015~2016 containing 96×96-versions with a VERY low amount of colors used per image.
